Wayne Valley's Student Culinary Competition
Congratulations to all of our Wayne Valley future chefs for another strong performance in the annual Wayne Valley Student Culinary Competition.  A special thanks to Sodexo Food Services for their sponsorship of the event.

In addition to showcasing our students, the competition “served” another great purpose.  The Wayne Valley Student Culinary Competition raised $2,084.75 for the AgnesHoerner/Ed Grobe scholarship for Consumer Sciences. We had over 300 parents and students in attendance that made it out in the cold to see and taste the student creations, then vote for their favorite. Please click here for more information.

Staying Healthy

Unfortunately, this is the time of year when many illnesses are spread. So please remember....

~ Students are to be out at least 24 hours for
strep throat, pink eye, or any other bacterial infection
(24 hours from when the student starts antibiotics)

~ For fevers, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., students
can return to school when symptom-free for 24 hours

Please help us prevent the spread of these illnesses by adhering to these timelines.
Click here for a copy of the guidelines letter send home via your child's backpack.
